Information about your rights and how your personal data is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).

Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

The Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as "KVKK") was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 on April 7, 2016. Certain provisions of KVKK entered into force on the date of publication, while the remaining provisions entered into force on October 7, 2016.

Within the scope of KVKK Law No. 6698, we would like to inform you, our valued customers, in the capacity of "Data Controller" about how your personal data is collected, processed, and the purposes for which it is processed. Personal data you share with us by giving explicit consent may be processed within the framework of the procedures and principles set by KVKK, limited to our company's fields of activity and services; may be transferred to relevant persons and organizations domestically and internationally; may be stored; and may be used for profiling and classification purposes.

Collection, Processing, and Purposes of Processing Personal Data

In accordance with KVKK Law No. 6698, personal data you share with Kalm Works / MedyaMir may be obtained, recorded, stored, modified, and reorganized in whole or in part, by automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that they are part of any data recording system. Under KVKK, all such operations are considered "processing of personal data." Your personal data collected through www.kalm.works and/or www.medyamir.com websites is processed for purposes such as providing our products and services, communicating with you regarding current and/or future products and services you may request, presenting product/service offers, conducting marketing and promotional activities, and new product development studies.

To Whom and For What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, subcontractors, subsidiaries, and domestic and international third parties from whom we receive services or procure supplies, as well as to legally authorized public institutions and organizations, in accordance with the conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, limited to the purposes stated above.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through digital channels (our website, mobile applications, social media accounts, email) or through physical channels such as contracts, forms, and similar means. Collected data is processed based on the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK.

Rights of Data Subjects Under Article 11 of KVKK

As personal data subjects, you have the following rights under Article 11 of KVKK:
  • Learning whether your personal data has been processed
  • Requesting information regarding the processing if your personal data has been processed
  • Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose
  • Knowing the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad
  • Requesting the correction of personal data if processed incompletely or incorrectly
  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, despite having been processed in compliance with KVKK and other relevant laws
  • Requesting notification of the operations carried out to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred
  • Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person through the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems
  • Requesting compensation for damages in case personal data is processed in violation of the law

Application Method

In accordance with Article 13 of KVKK, you may submit your requests to exercise the rights stated above: - In writing by postal mail to our company address, - Through your Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or through your email address previously reported and registered in our system, - Via an "Application Form" or other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. You may send your applications to our Pendik, Istanbul address or email contact@kalm.works.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data stored in the databases and systems of Kalm Works / MedyaMir will be kept confidential in accordance with Article 12 of KVKK; it will not be shared with third parties except for legal obligations and the arrangements specified in this Privacy Notice.
